I find myself incredibly bored.
It's not you, Eliza. You're as thrilling and fascinating as ever, though your infinite stubborness to the most blatant of advances is beginning to become ... tiresome. But have no fear, I have yet to become entirely fatigued of you. And even once I do, let's be honest, I'll still persist. I'm a stubborn fellow, myself.
But let me ask you, have you found a single nameless woman in a back alley in the entire time I've been here? If the answer is yes, it has nothing to do with me, and let me tell you, Dragons Light and Dark, that is becoming to chafe.
Especially if you recall that I was in Eblar for a grand celebration before I was in Temair. And that was busy with Lord Hasten's little revolution before I was in Eblar. And that, before that, I had half of Dentoria in Conare for a tourney. Do you have any idea how long it's been since I've been satisfied?
The things I do, for you. I don't want to pollute your charming city, your father's charming city, with my little eccentricities. Do you see the sacrifice that I'm making for you, here?
I'm really not sure how much longer I can keep this up.
Perhaps I should marry Anita, after all. Once the vows are said, she's hardly going to go running for her father with a few little burns and cuts. Unsatisfying, but ... well. A man who can't eat a feast will generally settle for a snack.
