Now wasn't that just flattering! I ride out of the city with several guards, and my people react as those it's a sort of parade. It's quite an ego boost to consider how they'll react when I return.

All this excitment nearly distracts me from the approaching 31st. (Nearly, I said, but not quite. Oh, to be twenty-two again!)
