My dear Eliza. Allow me to explain to you the nature of coincidence.
Tonight, I will be going out into my fair city, dressed forgettably. I'll find myself in a tavern of less than fine repute, and I will flatter my barmaid most skillfully, and she will be postively smitten with the handsome stranger. She and I will find a room, and I will ravish her from head to toe.
Tomorrow morning, a body will be turned up in the harbour, and everyone will whisper than the murders have started once again.
That, my dear Eliza, is sheerly a coincidence.
A lesson, for you.
