Why, Lady Felicia! I've just received word from your dear mother. She's not coming after all? A horrible shame, I was looking forward to entertaining! How tragic, truly. May I extend an invitation to any other people of importance who have any desire to see Conare? (I did make a great deal of preparations, it hardly stands to reason to have them all go to waste, after all!)
